Prime Minister Modi’s foreign policy is flawed
Congress is not satisfied with what has happened during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Congress had fiercely attacked the government of its country on India’s action after the Pahalgam attack, America’s love for Pakistan after the conflict with Pakistan, Trump and Munir’s lunch date, problems with Maldives etc. Now when Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for a historic visit to five countries from July 2 to 9, which includes Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia. On this too, Congress is raising questions on the country’s foreign policy after his departure. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday termed the foreign policy of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government as flawed and said that it has created enemies around India. Addressing the Samajik Nyaya Samara Bheri here, Kharge challenged the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to remove the words socialist and secular from the preamble of the Constitution. Kharge alleged that Prime Minister Modi has visited 42 countries of the world, but till now he has not visited Manipur, where people are dying. The senior Congress leader said, his foreign policy is not good, due to which we have enemies all around us. On one side there is China, on the other side Pakistan. Today Nepal is also moving away from us. Everyone is moving away from us. Recently, an article published in a magazine associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said that Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale had called for a review of the words socialist and secular included in the Preamble of the Constitution not to abolish the Constitution, but to restore its original spirit by freeing it from the distortions of the Emergency era policies of the Congress. On Hosabale’s call, Kharge said, “I have heard that the people of RSS are saying that they will remove the words socialist and secular from the Constitution. I challenge you or your BJP or (Amit) Shah. No one can remove them, if you have the courage, then remove them and show it.” He accused Modi of ruining the country’s economy and destroying the Constitution in the last 11 years. Kharge said that the Congress will teach Modi a lesson. He urged Congress workers to strengthen the party to ensure that it returns to power at the Centre and changes the direction of the country. Targeting the Prime Minister, he said that Modi embraces the President and Prime Minister of other countries, but ignores the common people and farmers of his own country. Taking a dig at the Prime Minister, he said, if someone gives Modi a cap or a medal, he will wear it and roam around. Kharge said that Modi should worry about Indian farmers and people. He said, Modi ji, where are you? He is visiting eight countries, but is not looking at the people of his country. He is not looking at the farmers of this country.
